Dear readers,

This  write up is going to amuse you  and will definitely relate to you especially if you are a parent or a  grand parent. A hilarious one. Please enjoy reading and feel free to smile in between.

As parents we think we are technologically advanced , well aware and fully equipped with all the knowledge required to handle our adorable cuties.But Don’t underestimate the power of our young stars .They sometimes ,  may come up,  with  a cute little query , which has enough  ammunition to leave  you puzzled and speechless.

The  inquisitiveness  is matchless. From where do they bring those super and powerpacked queries, ….Only our dear God knows. There questions are  sometimes a challenge to answer . We can only react, not respond !!!!

The  queries are untold and unfold mysteries of this universe..

I remember ,I was once preparing my cutie for her final semester exam when, she  asked me in a very innocent tone, ” why are we learning the whole book when the teacher is going to ask questions written on a single sheet” . I was zapped and zipped, but I was her google mom, so I somehow settled the matter with my brainy stuff😉

There is another one , one of my friend narrated this to me , about her eight year old son. She often buys him books on animals and their natural habitats. So once she got him a book on elephants. The child after finishing the book about elephants and their characteristics, he asked his mamma as to seek some quenching of his inquisitiveness , “Mamma what was your age at the time of my birth.” She told him that she was around twenty-five . Then quickly came another one.  He asked,” mamma  ,why did you take so much time to produce me. , When an elephant takes only  fifteen years ” .  🤓🤓😇.  My friend now thinks twice before getting him a book on animals 😃💕

Parenting is a learning phase where learning is by doing and no rehearsals, just delivery and outcomes. Lot of alertness, awareness,affection, devotion, to be packed in one and carried along through out.

As parents we must understand that parenting is dealing with unprecedented  situations , and that too with love, affection, devotion , compassion and  patience (list is more …..). Just ‘understand ‘ them and their ‘gunas’ and enjoy your journey of parenthood.

  1. So much of joy in reading the little master minds Reena, poem is awesome too. You have concluded with a definite definition to be a parent. I thank God million times for blessing me to be a Mom n say sorry to my kid more than that if I show anger in any of my stressful times. ‘Coz she makes me to realize my mistake n reasons which triggered me to do so with her innocent love n affection. We definitely learn many good things from these kiddos. Thanks for such a good share 🥰❤

  2. Cute questions. Child is the father of the man. They think out of box, as they don’t have prior knowledge or experience to guide them. A beautiful post👍👍
