Anger : a little costly

Bring all the senses under control and focus them single pointedly in devotion to the almighty , for those whose senses are under control , are firm and esteemable individuals.

It is a full circle of one’s actions ( karmas) and the fruit one bears finally by virtue of his karmas . Karmas are the makers of destiny.

When one thinks of procuring an object , mind is occupied. The person becomes attached to it and desires to possess it .When he fails in his pursuit , he gets frustrated and anger surmounts.

Anger always eclipses the power of discriminative judgement of an individual. One fails to discern the true from untrue . He gets completely gripped by delusion.

A deluded person forgets to keep his promises, he forgets gratitude he owes to others, ……..this is nothing but loss of memory.

With this agitation, ego, anger , and ignorance his intellect is lost. He thus destroys the humane attributes inside him and lose his own individuality.

So we should always try to control our anger. An agitated and restless mind leads to destruction and a controlled mind leads to construction.

You will not be punished for your anger you will be punished by your anger.

  1. This is wonderfully conveyed. It’s exactly so; when we can detach from mind and it’s meanderings, anger may arise, yet we can discriminate and understand what is happening, thus the reaction to anger is slowed, and we create a space to respond. Surrendering is a large part of this experience. Wonderful post, Reena. Many blessings to you, my dear friend. 💕
