Presence –An absence that is felt

Your presence was felt

How it matters , you didn’t come

You were there in fragrance of flowers

In the blessings that my Lord showers

You were in the silver moonlight,

Wrapping me in dreamy white

In the sweet pain residing in my heart

With an everlasting promise never to part

You were present in every breathe

In every little or big heart beat

Your presence was felt ,in my prayers

How it matters, you never came

  1. Another masterpiece of yours out of the so many! Thanks for sharing💕,Reena!Specially these lines of the poem:
“You were present in every breathe,
In every little or big heart beat!
Your presence was felt ,in my prayers,
How it matters, you never came!! “

  2. I agree with everyone, a lovely write, Reena. I particularly like the paradox you are drawing upon – that is, when we are truly present, we get more, feel more, know more, and understand more, so absence would be felt and known more. Beautiful, my friend. 💖
