Revival

The shades of grey kept calling,
to find a place in my heart,
unveiling my heart ,I let it in,
it was desire, playing it’s part,

eclipsing to the entirety, it whispered,
your life ,oh dear!, is my pallanquin,
making tree it’s blissful pen ,
serene sea became the ink,

mind under it’s reign , ceaselessly,
burnt my heart with thousand fires ,
illuminated me though wounds so deep,
resurrecting ,rising , reviving to respire,,,

  1. This is a deeply evocative piece rich in metaphor and inner movement. Here’s a thoughtful, poetic comment that honors its depth and craft:
    Haunting and luminous at once.
Desire here is not merely felt, it writes using sea as ink and tree as pen turning the self into both page and pallanquin.

The progression from seduction to dominion, from burning to illumination, is strikingly honest. What moves most is the paradox: wounds that scorch yet awaken, destruction that becomes resurrection. The poem breathes from within its scars, and that makes it profoundly alive.
