A mysterious tub of dye

Is God formless, or has He any form??

If He has a form then, how do we see ?

All these things come naturally to our mind often, (if not, it’s also quite natural😊 )

Lets get some answers ourselves, through this brief and interesting story

A tub of dye ( story)

Once there was a man who used to dye cloths.( Unstitched). He kept a solution of dye in his tub . Many people used to come to him and had their cloths dyed.

He always used to ask his customer, ” What colour would you like to have your cloth dyed with?”. And which ever colour the customers would ask for, he simply used to get it dyed and give them .

A tub of dye

He would dye the cloths of his customers in different colors by dipping them in the solution of his
tub. Red, blue , green ,yellow, all the different colours for his customers , by dipping them all in the same solution.

One of the customers was watching all this with amusement and of course with double amazement. He was amused to see those vibrant colors and utterly bewildered to see how they all are getting dyed with the same solution everytime.

So he went to the dyer ,and asked him ,”I want to get my cloth dyed”. The Dyer asked, “what colour do you want for your cloth ?”. The customer said ,” Please dye my cloth with the colour of dye in your tub ”

All these things do not come clear until one has realised God. The Lord takes different forms and reveals himself in different ways , his devotees, want him or think him to be , that’s all so beautiful and divine🌺🌺

  1. GOD:
Form less and Form less too.
    Saguna Brahman and Nirguna Brahman.
    Let’s consider the Big Bang
Point of Singularity. From this point, sprang up this Universe, expanding Universe which is gross. Now different faiths have different views.
My faith and my view is this that God is FORMLESS. Because forms are changing. What we see as form is manifestation of formless. What we see is appearance only. Appearance has beginning and end too.
But God has no beginning or end too.
    Beyond space-time reality.

Thank you so much for your excellent posts.

    1. Lovely thoughts
Definitely sir among many theories , how universe came into being ,the most promising is the bigbang theory, since then followed by expansion as per Hubble’s Law. This is as unknown as the part of cosmos unexplored, still unknown , beyond even the imagination of human minds
Advaita vedanta, , where the Being(Supreme, the unknown, the un manifest, ) and His manifestations ,the oneness,
I also read swami vivekanand and parables of sri ramakrishna , advaita vedanta
I am inclined to it because they view things neither as optimistic nor as pessimistic, rather just as they are,
They believe in the beauty of unknown as knowledge is a limitation.
      Nice to get connected,
Thank you so much for sharing your precious thoughts😊💐

      1. Thank you so much for nice reply. Happy to know your inclination towards Advaita Vedanta and Swami Vivekananda’s teachings.
Also happy to know that you know modern science and cosmology.
Great! Now a days there are very few having interest in Vedanta.

      2. That’s very nice to know. I had “Astronomy” one paper in my BSc Mathematics Honors. However, I started studying Cosmology, modern science, including quantum physics and quantum Biology since past 3 years along with my deep studies in Vedanta, Advaita Vedanta. I feel happy when someone interacts with these subjects. I am a retired person. Devoted my life mostly on studies only.
Thank you so much for your replies.
        God Bless You.

      3. I can judge through the depth of your blogs the amount of time and effort you have put into a detailed analytical study of Upanishads , which I really found informative and enlightening on reading yesterday
        Thank you so much😊
